In the garden today

It's been a glorious day here today, so warm and sunny. The garden seems to be exploding with fresh green shoots and pretty blossoms at the moment!

I know that these are weeds and I really "ought" to pull them out, but they are so pretty :-)

The-shrub-I-can't-remember-the-name-of is absolutely full to bursting with masses of gorgeous white blossoms.

I love grape hyacinths ~ they always make me feel that you should be able to gently shake the flower stems and hear little bells tinkling away!

The tulips are opening...

...and look, here is Pinkie relaxing on the rhubarb leaves in the spring sunshine! She has come all the way from America, a gift from one of my dear Flickr friends :-)
