Aha!

I had a quick looksie in the Help forum and it appears that I needed to change to the new editor in settings ~ let's hope this has cured things LOL

I was using the old editor apparently ~ to be honest, I didn't even know that Blogger had updated anything LOL Hopefully my posts will now publish just how I have set them out instead of all higgeldy-piggeldy!
